Data Deletion

If you have connected a social media account to the scheduling platform operated by Digital Space, this page explains how to disconnect it and have every piece of data we hold about it permanently deleted. It applies to Meta (Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts), TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn (personal profiles and company pages), YouTube.

Deleting data here does not delete anything from the social platform itself. Posts already published stay live on your account until you remove them there.

The fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:

• Sign in to your workspace
• Go to Settings → Connected accounts
• Find the account and choose Disconnect

On disconnect we revoke and delete the stored access and refresh tokens, cancel every scheduled post for that account, and remove its profile details and stored metrics.

You can also cut off access from the social platform’s own settings, which works even if you cannot sign in to us:

• Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → remove our app
• Instagram: Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites
• TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions
• X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps
• LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services
• YouTube / Google: Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps

Revoking access stops all further API access at once. We detect the revoked token and purge the associated records automatically.

Email privacy@digital-space.io with the subject Data deletion request, and include:

• The social account handle or page name you want removed
• The email address associated with your workspace
• Whether you want the whole workspace deleted, or just that one account

We may ask one question to verify you control the account before acting. We acknowledge requests within 3 working days.

• OAuth access and refresh tokens, and the record of granted scopes
• Account identifiers, handles, display names and avatars
• Drafted and scheduled posts, including uploaded media
• Publishing history and stored performance metrics
• Workspace user records, if you asked for the whole workspace to go

Live records are erased immediately. Encrypted backups roll off on their normal cycle and are fully purged within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to (invoices and financial records), which contain no social platform data.

Once complete we email you a confirmation. This is irreversible: export anything you want to keep first.
