Content and media are carried across page by page, so nothing gets lost in translation: text, images, and structure are rebuilt on your new plan rather than dumped in as a raw export. Every existing URL is mapped to its new address with proper 301 redirects, which matters more than people expect, search engines and anyone who's bookmarked or linked to a page on your old site need to land somewhere real, not a dead page, after the move. DNS cutover is scheduled in advance with you, and your domain and email keep working throughout, there's no window where your inbox or site goes dark while the move happens. We test the new site thoroughly before pointing your domain at it, not after, so the switch itself is close to invisible to your visitors. Migrations from a platform with a lot of custom functionality (a bespoke WordPress plugin, a large Shopify catalogue, or heavy third-party integrations) are scoped on our Custom tier, because the right approach depends heavily on what that functionality actually does; everything else fits the Standard migration.
